Is there anything better than a seaside holiday? This lovely stone cottage is in Marldon, on the edge of the English Riviera. Bring your bucket and spade, as you’re within easy reach of several beaches. We love paddling at Paignton, which is a twelve-minute drive, and exploring the harbour in Torquay, which is sixteen minutes away.

If you prefer to keep your feet dry, there’s still plenty to enjoy here. The South West Coastal Path is a dream for hikers and cyclists, and you have all of Dartmoor’s delights to discover too.

When you’re not exploring, you’ll be relaxing at the cottage. Curl up on the sofa beneath wooden beams for a cosy afternoon in, or spill out onto the courtyard for games in the fresh air. Head out to a pub for dinner, pick up fish and chips, or cook in the well-equipped kitchen. Everything you might need is close to hand at this comfortable and convenient home-from-home.
