The house was built during the Wilhelminian period and was used for military purposes in the first decades. The entire campus is a listed building. A spacious staircase welcomes you. The ambience is characterised by the approx. 3.60m high ceilings, the open living-dining area, as well as the view into the green inner courtyard (balcony with seating area).
The furnishing of this flat follows the \;Eames x Girard\; principle. The designer Alexandre Girard further developed the now very well-known Plastic Chairs by Charles & Ray Eames for the furnishing of the restaurant \;La Fonda del Sol\; in 1961. Two such chairs stand as vintag(hidden)ssics at the dining table. The entire design was put together by the interior designer in a warm Scandinavian style around the design language of Eames and Girard.
