Stylish two-bedroom apartment with a lot of charm located near Piazza delle Rovere, in Trastevere, about a 10-minute walk from the Vatican.
The apartment is located on the ground floor in a very convenient area, close to the historical center yet in a less busy area of town right below the beautiful Gianicolo Hill. It is tastefully renovated and has all the modern utilities you need for a convenient stay, such as washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioner in all rooms, as well as a very good heating system for those chilly Roman winter days.
Stepping into the flat you have the large and well-equipped kitchen with a dinner table seating approximately 6 people. On your right, you have the beautiful living room with a comfortable sofa, plenty of space for your books and a working desk. Here you also find a glass door leading out to the balcony, where you can have breakfast, or an aperitivo, looking out over the charming neighborhood and the beautiful cupola of the San Giovanni dei Fiorentini church.
The two bedrooms each have a 140 cm bed, and there are two bathrooms; one with a shower and one with a bath tub.
The apartment is located on a slope, so it might not be suitable for people with limited mobility. The apartment in itself is, however, relatively accessible.
NOTE: Owner requires set time weekly for visits by prospective buyers.
Neighbourhood
One of the best things with this apartment is that you can walk almost everywhere. Located on Salita di Sant'Onofrio, the center of Trastevere is 15 minutes away by foot, and also the neighborhood of Prati is very near. In less than 20 minutes, you are in Campo de' Fiori, where you can shop for fresh produce. If you prefer having your morning coffee in the bar, you can walk up to the Gianicolo Hill, where you also can enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of Rome. Other well-known sights nearby are Castel Sant'Angelo and the Pantheon.
