Then Huize Vegetariana might be the place for you! :) We are a relaxed and friendly house where you will live with 5 women and 3 men. We are also a very diverse house; we live with 5 Dutch students and 3 international students, some studying at the University of Twente and some at AKI and Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Therefore, both Dutch and English are spoken in the house. During the week, we eat together almost every day with anyone who wants to, and after dinner we often like to stay a while to chat, play a game, or watch a movie. Occasionally, we also organize other activities, such as taking a walk, having a (vegetarian) BBQ in the summer, bouldering, or going to the movies together. In short, there's plenty to do at Huize Vegetariana, but nothing is mandatory! The room is available from mid-September. It's not very large, but you'll have your own refrigerator just outside your room, and you'll have access to part of the walk-in closet in the hallway. The rent for the room is €250 including utilities. The rest of the house offers plenty of space. We have two living rooms, two kitchens, two bathrooms, and a large garden, where we enjoy having lunch together in the summer and dinner outside in the evening. The house also has internet and a washing machine. From our house, the UT campus, the city center, and Saxion University of Applied Sciences are all just a 10-minute bike ride away. The AKI (Academy of Art and Design) is even within walking distance. Ideal for any student! There are also plenty of supermarkets and other necessary shops within walking distance.
