Ideally situated in Trastevere, this fuss-free base is an excellent starting point for sightseeing. Many of the city's must-see landmarks, including Camp de' Fiori and the Pantheon, are within walking distance. Even better, you've got a bevvy of art galleries, boutiques and trattorias nearby – after all, there's a reason this neighbourhood is considered the most charming in Rome. While the interiors here are rather dated, the brick ceilings and arched doorways add some character. The bedroom includes a desk for remote work, while the living room has a sofa bed for two guests. It's not the biggest, but it'll do the trick for an Eternal City getaway.
*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area. *The bathroom has double access from both the bedroom and the living area. *The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts. *Given the home's central spot directly above a bar, expect to hear some street noise throughout your stay. *The kitchen is compact. We think it's best suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. *Parking is provided, but a car isn't necessary in Rome. Instead of driving, explore on foot or take advantage of the city's public transport.
