This charming holiday home is tucked away amid 7 acres of gardens and woodland, just a five-minute walk from a stretch of river where you can fish for trout and salmon. There are red squirrels in the garden, otters in the nearby ponds, and a pair of breeding sea eagles to look out for – keep an eye out for osprey and golden eagles too. The house is perfectly placed for walking in the high fells and admiring the scenery of the North Coast 500 route. We love the wood-fired hot tub for relaxing evenings outside, and the open fires in both sitting rooms for cosy nights in. There’s plenty of room for a large group in this comfortable, welcoming home-from-home.

*Up to three well-behaved pets are welcome to join you during your stay.
*There are stairs to climb at this home so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
*Children and pets will need to be supervised around the ornamental ponds.
*Your host can provide a high chair for little ones.
*Three of the super-king-size beds are zip-and-link so can be set up as twins if preferred – just let your host know when you book.
*Someone may visit for garden maintenance and to feed the squirrels.
*Stag and hen parties are not permitted here.
