Fancy living like an Italian noble? Nestled among olive groves and vineyards, this historic residence sits in an area once favoured by aristocratic families escaping the summer heat. The villa still exudes old-world grandeur – think ceiling frescoes, chandeliers, gilded mirrors and four-poster beds – but with modern comforts like air conditioning and a daily maid service. Outside, the gardens have a lush, almost tropical feel, with a private pool tucked between the trees and views that roll on for miles. Just 7km from Lucca’s Renaissance walls, and within easy reach of the coast and the Apuan Alps, it’s a luxurious base for a Tuscan escape.
*Two of the bedrooms each have a double and a single bed – it’s not the most private arrangement, but it’s ideal for families.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 1st May and 31st October.
*A daily maid service is included – four hours a day, five days a week.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There's parking free onsite.
