The impeccable location of this unusual home is what first caught our eye. It’s on a beloved street just a stone’s throw from Place des Vosges, in the heart of the Marais. Shops, bars, and restaurants abound here, as well as some of the best boulangeries in Paris. You’ll be in the thick of things, just a ten-minute walk from beautiful Île Saint-Louis and the Notre-Dame. The apartment has a few quirks, with the bedroom accessible via a steep, open staircase, and the kitchen in the same space. Downstairs, there’s a cosy stone-walled living room, where guests three and four will sleep. Privacy is limited, but we can forgive that for such a great location.
*Well-behaved pets are welcome to join you.
*At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom and kitchen are in the same space.
*There’s a steep, open staircase in this home, so it may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility.
*There’s no oven in the kitchenette. We think it’s better suited to preparing light bites and snacks rather than full meals.
*Your host may be able to provide a travel cot on request.
*Bastille Metro station is a three-minute walk away.
*This is a self-check-in home.
*Given this home’s central location, there’s a chance you may hear noise from the street and surrounding restaurants during your stay. Light sleepers may want to pack earplugs.
