The streets surrounding you, known as Paris’ artsiest neighbourhood, are home to traditional bakeries serving freshly-baked pain au chocolat, bistros like scenes from a romance movie and chi chi little boutiques and shops. That’s not to mention the niche art galleries and the fact that Notre Dame is a fifteen-minute walk away.
Double height ceilings mean this place feels spacious inside, and the exposed masonry and rustic beams give an old-world, Provincial feel. For those travelling with kids or teenagers, the basement playroom with table tennis, is sure to keep them entertained. A kitchen tucked beneath the mezzanine bedroom makes the most of the living space, and is equipped with everything you need for self-catering, that’s if you’re not too busy exploring every bijou bakery and bistro on your doorstep.
