The private balcony overlooks an internal courtyard with a playground – although the host asks guests to be considerate of noise for the sake of the neighbours. It might not be the most central home in the city, but the quiet residential area is surrounded by parks, ideal for those who prefer a slower pace of life.
* Netflix addicts beware – there isn’t a TV in this home, so make sure to bring a laptop to get your boxset fix
* This host has a few house rules to keep the home in top condition – some include no loud speaking on the balcony, no food or drink on the sofa, no piano playing after 7pm, and no children under two
* One of the bedrooms has a single bed, so the sixth guest will be sleeping on a single sofa bed in the communal area
*Be aware that you’ll be sharing the cupboard space with the host’s belongings – she clears out half the space for guests.
