Your hosts have decorated it minimally but with a stylish hand – the highlight for us is the Scandi-inspired dining set. Look forward to retiring to the tucked-away bedroom nook after a busy day of landmark-hopping.
And speaking of landmarks, you won't have to travel far to see Barcelona's best. The beautifully-manicured El Retiro Park, complete with a rose garden and boating lake, is just a leisurely fifteen-minute stroll away. Walk through the triumphal Puerta de Alcalá to enter and enjoy a lazy afternoon in the gardens. From here, the world-famous Prado is within easy reach. Marvel at some of the country's best-known artworks before finding a traditional tapas bar nearby to while away the evening.
