You'll find this villa on the cusp of Emilia Romagna and Tuscany. Here, rolling fields stretch out in every direction – chances are, you'll spend most of your time in the garden, admiring the scenery. There's a private pool (open seasonally), an outdoor seating area (perfect for aperitifs) and an alfresco dining table with views towards the hills. Inside is traditional in every sense, so it won't appeal to those who prefer modern design. Still, it's cosy, comfortable and charming – although it is spread across multiple levels, which may be difficult for guests with limited mobility. When you're ready to explore, the nearest village is within walking distance, while others like Modigliana and Portico di Romagna are reachable by car.
*While the kitchen and some bathrooms aren't photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.
*All bedrooms are located on the first and second floors, which are accessed by an external staircase.
*At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on a sofa bed in the reading room. If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot and high chair on request.
*Although there isn't air conditioning here, portable fans can be provided on request.
*The pool is only available to use between June and September. It's unfenced, so children must be supervised at all times.
*We recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. There’s free parking for up to four cars on the driveway.
