The surrounding area is full of life, with Canal Saint-Martin less than a minute away – stroll along the waterway, and stop off at some of the independent coffee shops and bars on the way. It's far enough away from the tourist traps to feel authentic, but still within easy reach of the city's main landmarks. An eight-minute walk will take you to the famous Place de la République, and if you want to visit some of the iconic museums and galleries then Jacques Bonsergent métro station is just three minutes away. And, if you're arriving by train, then both the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est are within a fifteen-minute walk from your new home.
