Inside, you'll uncover a similar traditional style to the exterior, with plenty of exposed stone, dark wood floors and furnishings, plus elegant wrought-iron beds. It's a tried and tested design that, when combined with the thick walls, ensures things stay nice and cool inside no matter how hot it is out by the pool.
Despite the off-the-beaten-track surroundings, the nearby village of Prines has three family-run tavernas that serve up traditional treats – perfect when you don't feel like cooking.
