Only mere steps from the sands of Mastichari Beach, this bright blue villa has a lot going for it besides its enviable spot. Out on the patio, there's a sparkling pool for afternoon dips, plenty of lounge chairs for lazing in the sun and an outdoor table underneath the pergola for alfresco dining. Whether you're splashing in the water or napping in the egg chair, fun in the sun comes easily here. Even better is the roof terrace, where you can soak up the ocean views with a glass of wine in the hot tub. Inside, there's no denying that this is a Grecian home. Blue and white dominate the colour scheme (although funky lights in the bedroom add a pop of green and orange), while gorgeous tiles in the kitchen are a nod to classic Greek design.
But the best part of all is the location. This villa is just steps from the seaside and only a few minutes' walk from the laid-back tavernas, beachfront bars and local restaurants in Mastichari. Take it slow and sprawl out on the sand or kick it up a notch with kitesurfing and kayaking. Ferries run daily to neighbouring Kalymnos if you fancy a bit of island hopping, but if you ask us, we'd be content to stay put, basking in the salty air. Between the seafront location, coastal scenery and the sunny terrace back at home, you can't go wrong.
