Between the beach and the beautiful village of Pyrgos on Tinos, this villa has some of the best views on the island. Here, you’re perched above the Aegean Sea, a ten-minute walk from the soft sand of Vathi Beach. Make the three kilometre drive to Pyrgos, a hilltop village in striking blue and white said to be one of the prettiest in the Cyclades.
Arriving at the villa, the first thing that took our breath away was the view from the infinity-edge swimming pool. The pool juts out over the hillside, with the sparkling ocean stretching before you and the hazy silhouette of Mykonos sitting on the horizon. Rustic-style stone patios are home to loungers, bean bag chairs and floor cushions for a bit of boho chill. Dining can be taken on the patio, shaded by a pergola and with a stunning sea view.
Inside, a medley of fawn, honey and driftwood-coloured soft furnishings continue the boho vibe. Crisp white walls whisper of Cycladic tradition and floor-to-ceiling glass doors give you that sea view, even when you’re doing the dishes in the sleek, white kitchen. Both bedrooms open up onto the pool terrace so you can wake up to that fantastic view and step straight to a sunlounger.
