One of a collection of four villas in the middle of the island of Alonissos, this home's surroundings couldn't be more Mediterranean if they tried – olive trees, herb bushes and rocky terrain fill the garden, while the dazzling blue Aegean Sea stretches out to the distant horizon.
There are plenty of spots from which to appreciate this dreamy landscape. On hot days, the infinity swimming pool will likely be the top choice, but the loungers on the terrace enjoy an equally lovely vantage point. As well as that, there are a pair of balconies on the home's first floor which also offer a superb panorama.
That's quite enough about views, though. Behind the villa's yellow walls, you'll find an interior that combines rustic features and earthy colours with enough contemporary flourishes, like the flowery armchair and abstract artworks, to stop it from feeling dated. One of our favourite features is the pair of Jacuzzi tubs in the bathrooms that makes it easier than ever to completely switch off and relax.
Of course, there's only so long that you can gaze at the sea before the temptation to go for a swim proves too much. Fortunately, the nearest beach – Tourkoneri – is only seven minutes' drive away. The port town of Patitiri is only ten minutes away too when you fancy a meal out in a seafront restaurant.
