While statement lighting and luxurious finishes, including a slick bathroom and kitchen area designed with wheelchair users in mind, bring the apartment firmly into the 21st Century.
Open the arched windows of the Juliet balconies wide to reveal woodland scenes as you fire up the coffee machine – only bird song could disturb you here. And when it's time to embrace the great outdoors, there are excellent paths nearby for hiking and cycling, or for the more adventurous, waterfall canyoning (your host has some great tips for exploring the neighbourhood). Or simply pad out into the rambling communal gardens where you'll find a shared swimming pool and Jacuzzi to soak up the views of the surrounding forests and neighbouring castle of Orpí. Immersed in nature, you could feel a million miles from anywhere here. But if you fancy a change of pace, Barcelona and the shores of Sitges and Costa Dorada are all under an hour's drive away. Good luck convincing anyone to leave this dreamy place, though.
