Calling all foodies – this charming flat in Bolhão is just steps away from some of Porto's most delicious restaurants and cafes. Situated in Praça dos Poveiros, this is the local's go-to gathering place for good food, free-flowing drinks and laughter-packed conversations. There's no shortage of spots here to wine and dine the night away, but that's not the only reason we love this location. You're close to almost everything – stroll three minutes and visit the blue-tiled Igreja de Santo Ildefonso, wander ten to reach Avenida dos Aliados or head down to the riverfront and walk along the Ribeira, thirteen minutes away.
The apartment itself is as cosy as can be. We're swooning over the period features – traditional shuttered windows, high ceilings and crown moulding are just a few of our favourite details. A quaint Juliet balcony overlooks the hustle and bustle below – the perfect spot for a morning coffee – while the comfy sofa beckons after a long day on your feet. If you need to work from home, you can even set up shop at the dining table as the sunlight streams into the living area. While we wouldn't suggest rustling up a feast in the kitchen, it's perfectly suited to lighter bites – and besides, with so many mouth-watering eateries on your doorstep, we doubt you'll get up to much cooking.
