On the outskirts of the ski town of Megève, this chalet home sits 800 metres from the aprés ski bars, rustic Alpine restaurants and ski lifts of the village centre. Towering mountains surround you on all sides, with slopes for every level at the top. Getting to the slopes is easy, with the ski bus running 150 metres from this home’s front door.
After a day skiing, snowboarding or hiking the Alpine trails, you can return to this home and indulge in a soak in the hot tub on the terrace, or unwind in one of two saunas. In summer, you can enjoy a beautiful view of verdant green mountains from the balcony, or a snow-covered scene in winter. Inside, it’s a vision of knotted wood with carved wooden hearts throughout for that old-time farmhouse feel. The lounge, set around a solid stone fireplace, is the perfect spot to cosy up on chilly winter’s evenings with a mug of something hot and bedrooms tucked beneath wooden eaves feel like secret hideaways.
*There is access to a gym which is shared between two other chalets
