Given the rather beautiful landscape around these parts, the architect has made the sensible decision to include as many windows and glass doors in the main living space as possible, which also has the added benefit of bringing in ample amount of natural light. During the winter months, you'll love gazing out at the mountain scenery with the fireplace crackling away beside you, but if the weather is a little warmer, you can opt instead to make use of the balcony terrace instead.
When it comes to the design, you can spot many typically Alpine aspects, like the wood finishes and stone floors, but there are a wealth of modern touches in the shape of bold artworks, chic furnishings and the deliciously minimalist kitchen. There's certainly some Scandi influence to be detected in the furniture, but the most Nordic feature of all has to be the three-person sauna that is sure to be a blessing after a long day out on the slopes.
In Les Gets, you'll find a few restaurants and bars to keep you refreshed, as well as a museum dedicated to mechanical musical instruments. Of course, you're surrounded by Alpine mountains too, with lifts taking you up to the slopes in the winter months. There are plenty of hiking and cycling routes to explore if you're here during the warmer seasons, as well.
