Head up to the first floor of this home close to the Brittany coastline and you're treated to views of the sea and the narrow Sillon de Talbert stretching out through the water. Back down at ground level, it's not possible to catch a glimpse of this vista, but there's an innate sense of peace and tranquillity that often comes with being close to the sea.
During spells of warm weather, guests can while away the hours on the loungers and dining table on the terrace, or even play games on the large lawn. When you finally head inside, you're sure to be instantly struck by the minimalist interior. Large windows and glass doors invite in bountiful amounts of natural light and this is accentuated by the stark white walls and shiny wooden floors. The black kitchen is all clean lines and smooth surfaces, while the furnishings are subtle and unshowy to match.
When it comes to seeing a little more of the local area, you can walk to Sillon de Talbert in eight minutes and Pors Rand beach in eleven. The island of Bréhat is well worth a visit for its pink granite and Mediterranean microclimate, and can be easily reached by boat.
