A stone's throw from the sandy beaches of Cancale, in the picture-pretty bay of Port Mer, this charming home offers the very best of coastal living. Boasting a gorgeous garden with plenty of cosy spots to sit down and breathe in the salty sea air, start your days with coffee on the lawn while watching the boats sail by.
If you want to see the ocean up close, the beach is less than 1km away – take a walk down to the golden sands to discover what the famous Emerald Coast has to offer. When you're feeling peckish, Cancale oysters are a must-try. Head to one of the local restaurants or buy some from the Mont Saint-Michel oyster market and take them home to prepare yourself. We highly recommend an alfresco dinner on the terrace, washed down with a glass of French wine. When you're finished, head up to the terrace to watch the sunset – the waterfront views have to be seen to be believed.
When darkness falls, head inside to cuddle up on the sumptuous sofa to watch a movie. If you're travelling with little ones, the mezzanine level dens are the perfect place for a bedtime story to make sure they settle in for a good night's sleep.
