Peering over the Amalfi Coast, this postcard-worthy villa is the perfect Positano escape. With three terraces to choose from, you’ll start your day deliberating where to take breakfast – will it be at the bistro set under the magenta sprays of bougainvillaea or perhaps you’ll dine in the shade by the abundant lemon tree? Afternoons are for doing very little – lazing on a lounger with an ice-cold drink in hand, watching the boats bob on the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea.
Inside, there’s a minimalist yet lively approach to the living space. Yellow patterned tiles are a counterpoint to the pristine white walls and we loved the homely feel of the antique cherry wood furniture. The bedrooms are comfortable and cheery and the brightly coloured bathrooms are sure to put a pep in your step in the mornings.
When you’re ready to explore, Positano Beach is just a short walk from your doorstep and you’re within touching distance of restaurants, bars and independent shops. After a slap-up seafood dinner by the water, return to your abode to watch the sky swirl in pinks and purples as you sip an Aperol spritz.
*Parking in Positano can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible – though we think the best way to see the village is on foot
*There are four separate terraces, all with panoramic views of Positano
*We recommend hiring a porter to assist with your luggage
*Your host can provide a cot upon request
*At full capacity, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed here
*Towels are changed every seven days
