With a handy location right in the heart of Downtown Porto, we think that this beautiful home is ideal for almost any kind of traveller, be it a group of friends looking to uncover the best bits of Portugal's second city, a family break, or simply a romantic break with a couple more couples to this effortlessly romantic place.
Start the day with a cup of freshly brewed coffee and a Portuguese 'pastel' on the balcony, soaking up the vitamin D from the almost guaranteed southern European sunshine, before setting off on your explorations.
Within just around five minutes, you'll find yourself at some of Porto's most renowned highlights. One of our favourites has to be Bolhão market, a bustling local hub full of wonderfully fresh produce and regional specialties – the perfect place to really take in the unique character of the city and get to know Porto’s people, otherwise known as 'Tripeiros' (literally, those who eat tripe, thanks to Porto's penchant for this particular delicacy – don't worry, there'll be other options!) .
Of course, you'll also be spoilt for choice when it comes to the selection of eateries serving up typical delights of the area, from rich stews to decadently sweet desserts. Oh, and don't forget about the host of lovely local Cervejarias, where you'll find great beers and savoury bites at reasonable prices. On top of all that, the nearest metro station is just 250 metres away, so you can be almost anywhere in the city quickly and easily. Happy travels!
