This home sits in an idyllic spot amid olive groves and lush scenery, with the scent of herbs carried on a gentle breeze. Colourful flowers and plants surround the home, adding to the peaceful and pretty setting. As soon as you arrive, you’ll be tempted by the private swimming pool, which sparkles in the sunshine. Later, after stretching out on a sun lounger to dry, you might fire up the barbecue and dine alfresco on the terrace.
Chania old town is just fifteen minutes away by car, and the shops, bars and clubs of Platanias are even closer. The nearest beach is 1.8 kilometres away, so adding beach trips to your itinerary is no trouble at all. We recommend taking a day-trip to Balos Lagoon, which is fifty-five minutes away – it’s been named one of the best beaches in the world, so it’s well worth the journey.
