A beautiful place to stay in Havana. Fantastic views! Fresh air and the greatest views from this third floor-through luxury apartment (it takes up the entire floor of a building) surrounded by nature, in the middle of the city. Access through the main stairs (no handicap access available) The apartment is pretty clear, ventilated and spacious, with beautiful granite floors, big windows and breathtaking views in all directions, away from traffic noises and city disturbances. There are two huge available bedrooms with great privacy, comfortable beds and air conditioner (approx. 12 sq M (130 sq In) each) The bathroom almost conserve all its original 50's style, with gorgeous turquoise ceramic tiles in floor and walls, shower with cold & hot water. Due to the monetary policy exchange in Cuba and extra fees applied to USD, you'll receive a 10% discount of the price if paying in Euros (cash).

Maria Eugenia est très accueillante et sympathique. Sa maison est soignée et bien décorée. Elle nous a aidés. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour et nous conseillons cet hébergement.

We could not have been luckier or more appreciative of ending up as Maria's guests! It was a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed being in a green, leafy neighborhood away from the tourist hustle in Habana Vieja. Not only was the place immaculate and nicely appointed, the breakfasts and dinners (for extra) were delicious. We were also grateful for all Maria's guidance about getting around Havana and suggestions for restaurants and night spots. If we had been there a little longer, I think we would have mastered the public bus system from her house to other parts of town. Most of all we loved her gracious hospitality. We enjoyed the time she spent telling us about Cuba and her interesting life. She generously introduced us to friends and her neighborhood amenities. We feel like we struck up a lifelong friendship. When we return to Cuba we hope we can stay at Hostal Chichitana again.

The place was very clean and the location was away from all the noise. Neighborhood was very safe. Maria is absolutely wonderful and helpful.
