When you travel to Havana you MUST stay with Leslie and Anita! They are the sweetest, most friendly ladies and know everything there is to know about Cuba. Meeting Leslie was like coming to visit a friend, she's warm and personable and very well connected. If you have any questions on where to go and what to do in Cuba, just ask Leslie. Accommodations are immaculately clean and private and the location is perfect - very safe, just minutes from the Melia Cohiba, the hop on/hop off bus, the Malecon, great restaurants and so much more. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and plan to stay with Leslie and Anita on my next trip to Havana.

The rooms, each one with a separate bath room, are very clean and quiet. The two ladies are sweet and very helpful. Leslie speaks english well; her mother means, that she is getting in trouble, if the situation demands her english [] The apartment is located very well in beautiful Vedado, a rather living area, green and by far not so crowded and noisy as f.e. Havana centro or Havana vieja. It`s easy to get around by the collectible taxi (about 50 cents a trip) from the Línea, a street, which crosses a big part of Havana, and is just one or two blocks away. The breakfast, with juice, eggs and fruits was included in the rental fee. For me the breakfast was sufficient, but i think, if one expects or wants a more comprehensive breakfast, so it has just to be mentioned. There is no extra entrance for the guests, but the guests do get their own keys, so one can move around independently. I did enjoy my time with Leslie and Anita and i`d like to strongly recommend this beautiful place to others.
