Camellia is the brainchild of Kanwar Pushpendra Singh Jhala who hails from the chivalrous Rajput Nobel Clan of Jhalas famous for saving Maharana Pratap in the battle of "Haldi Ghati"against the Mughals. He retired from the Tea Plantations in Darjeeling and Dooars after spending thirty three years at a world renowned tea company Duncan Tea Ltd founded by a Scottish entrepreneur a century ago. He has now "hung his boots" and settled in Jaipur. A keen naturalist, a wild life lover and an avid golfer, he loves to entertain his guests in style. His wife Kanwarani Sneh Jhala is the daughter of late Ranasaheb of the erstwhile state of Manaswal in Punjab. Gardening & landscaping is her passion, which was perfected while residing in the sprawling bungalows of the tea estate. Conveniently located in Civil Lines, the poshest area in Jaipur, Camellia 'A Boutique Home' offers a delightful oasis to escape to.
