We selected to stay at this casa because it was located on a farm outside the city. We were disappointed with our experience and left earlier. I had informed the casa that my husband be and I had family we were traveling with and there was significant pressure to move them all to Gilbert's casa. I tried to explain that can we were traveling with family but choose not to sleep in the same casa because we also wanted our own space. They continued to pressure us to have them stay at the casa and to come over for meals, which made it very uncomfortable. We enjoyed the solitiude of being the only people staying at the casa and had a room that has a small terrace directly outside out bedroom that overlooked the valley. During two meals we were surprised to find that the owners invited friends to have meals directly outside our bedroom on the terrace and were told we were bumped to eating inside because we didn't have enough people with us. It was very awkward asking the people at the dinner to move their chairs over so we could get into the bedroom and the main reason we stayed at the house was to sit at that terrace and look at the valley. Overall the give was awkward and very uncomfortable. This was our second trip to Cuba and never had an issue with a casa previously.

Gilbert and Maricela are the perfect host. Friendly and Police they guide you trough the Adventure of Vinales as the horse ride. They also can help you with the laundry. The house is not far from the town and located in a beautiful and quiet hill

Vera nice location in the surroundings of Vinales. Walking distance. Breakfast is bert good.

Wir (3 Personen) waren 3 Nächte Gäste in der Casa von Maricela und Gilbe. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer mit eigenem Bad waren gut ausgestattet, hatten gute Betten und waren sehr sauber. Von der Dachterrasse hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Tal von Vinales und auch auf den Ort, der von der Casa aus sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen war. Unseren Mietwagen konnten wir auf dem abgeschlossen Grundstück sicher abstellen.Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und die Arepa waren die Besten unserer ganzen Rundreise. Maricela und Gilbe haben uns sehr gut betreut während unseres Aufenthaltes und auch gut beraten. Vielen Dank nochmals.

Maricela & Gilbe are great hosts and are very happy to help you with anything! The location of the Casa is just outside the center, which makes it very quite what is very nice! Also the views from the (rooftop) terrace is great! A stay with Maricela & Gilbe is highly recommended if you go to Viñales!

Maricela and Gilbert were excellent hosts, very friendly and always nearby to help. The meal we had with them was excellent. The casa itself was comfortable, with nice places to sit inside and outside. The room was nice with excellent air conditioning. It sat just on the edge of town, with the most amazing view over the valley, sitting on the roof terrace in the mornings and afternoons was wonderful. The location was quieter being outside of town, and the walk down to town was pleasant. Our stay with Maricela and Gilbert was our favorite from our whole trip.

Lugar encantador y muy recomendable. Hemos pasado 4 días soñados en Viñales gracias a Gilbe y Maricela, dos personas divinas que nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos, realmente me emocionaron por su dedicación, son muy buenas personas, honestas y trabajadoras, los desayunos muy buenos y completos con frutas, fiambres, huevos revueltos o torillas, jugos, café criollo espectacular, etc., nos recomendaron paseos, lugares, donde comprar. Todo excelente, agradecemos a ellos y gracias de corazón, ya que fue lo último que vimos, nos llevamos de viñales y la Cía. de ellos junto con 5 divinas francesas que se hospedaban también allí grandes momentos compartidosluego de pasar por La Habana,Varadero, Santa Clara, Cienfuegos, Trinidad y cayo Guillermo
