My stay at Orla's place for 4 months was a wonderful experience. Her and Eoin are both very kind, friendly, always helpful and caring. They count a lot in the success of my Erasmus experience and my happiness in Ireland. They make you feel home from the beginning, spend time with you, but also know how to respect your personal space, which is very nice. The house is very cosy and warm, nothing is missing and it's very well located. I can only say thank you so much for everything and see you soon!

Living in this typical irish host family was an incredible experience which contributed to the success of my Erasmus exchange. Orla and her son Eoin are two amazing people ! From the first day, they offered us a warm welcome that made us feel instantly at home. Thank you for everything, it was great "craic" as we say in Ireland !

Orla's home is a warm and comfortable place. You can really enjoy the Irish life by sharing a space with this little but welcoming and generous family. You can have your own time but also spend time with Orla and Eoin, they are here for you whenever they can. They make you feel like you are a member of the family. There is no judgements or selfishness, it is about solidarity and support. There are rules like in any home and you have the liberty to choose your organisation in the house as long as it is respectful of the others. The great location of the house and the area is a real bonus for the experience. It felt like home, with my own family, and I'm so thankful that I had to spend my journey in Orla's family, which I can proudly call my "Irish family".

I came into Orla's home as a student and now leaving as a working professional. That's how my transition has been not only professionally but also personally. Orla and Eoin have been an amazing host and took care like a family. All facilities at home and in my room were meticulously arranged and regularly looked after. I truly feel a part of the family and will greatly miss my time over here. As I mentioned earlier, from entering as a student, I received my summer internship, my full-time job offer, and a distinction in my masters, all of these while being at Orla's home, serves a testimony that it is a house with 'Good Luck' and 'Good Vibe'.

I stayed all summer at Orla's because of an internship, and I feel so lucky : even though I couldn't come back in my country for more than a weekend, I still got to feel at home for all my stay in Dublin. Orla is lovely and very helpful, she really took care of me like a mother would have and participated greatly in making my experience abroad wonderful. Her son was friendly as well and bore with me talking over the TV all the time almost until the end haha! Though a bit far from the city center (around 40 minutes by train, 1 hour in bus), public transportations were quick and easy to access from the house, and grocery shopping was no problem. The surrounding area was also nice and quiet and allowed me to jog peacefully when I wanted. Thank you very much to the both of you for having me!

Orla is a lovely host and was very welcoming, friendly and helpful during my stay. The room was as described and bathroom nice and spacious, shared only with the guest staying in the other room. The house is in a handy location for the bus and train into the city. Unfortunately, due to Orla smoking indoors I chose to depart earlier than planned but if this is not an issue for you then I would very much recommend staying with Orla and her son.
