This convenient homestay is located within 2 kms of downtown Barrie's magical lakefront action including, restaurants, cafes, pubs as well as the famous Georgian college and RVH hospital. It is easy walking distance to grocery stores, malls and restaurants as well as bus routes. I try to make my guests feel most comfortable like they are at home and make myself available at their convenience. I am helpful with questions and travel decisions I am known to have good communication. *Please note* We require at minimum 24 to 48 hours' notice before check-in to accept a booking request. Our check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 11am. These times can only be last minute flexible if there is no other booking after yours as well as communication and confirmation with email with property owner.

We, myself and my wife, stayed there for 2 weeks in order to find our new home to Canada ! (we stayed at the most expensive one - a studio with ensuite and kitchen in the basement) First of all, we want to thank Linda-Jo for her great hospitality. We are grateful to have her as our host. We also asked her to pick us up at the pearson airport (separate cost). We have too many luggage not fit for 1 go, she arranged a second go for us for a later transfer up from her sister's place and secured (so sweet)! Linda-Jo also showed us around for we 2 newbie for Canada. We talked alot. No matter what we asked her, she would be happy to provide us the answers! She is a positive and warm hearted person. Great location - quick and easy access to 3 main supermarkets with less than/around 10 minutes walking distance. In fact, we went there to see whats the great best deal almost everyday ! It is a lovely, quiet and safe neighborhood. Can't walk to downtown, but you can take a bus on Bayfield St.
