We stay with Juan Carlos in Casilda for 6 days and 6 nights end of March 2022. The house inside was like a little oase, so beautiful and we felt like home. Extremely happy with our choice and glad we didnt book anywhere else. We loved our stay there. The location was perfect for us because we wanted to be between the beach and Trinidad. Juan Carlos and Joachim were so helpful in every possible way. Great breakfast, we rented push bikes from them as well and we cycled to the beach and explored the local area. If you take the boat trip the the local island then its walking distance like 10 minutes to the local harbor. Always agree price of the taxi before you get into taxi and do negotiate but also dont push your luck or know the limit of negotiation. The gas is not cheap in Cuba. We were backpacking so had limited clothes with us and the lady that worked in the house washed all our clothes for us for only €5 which was amazing. You can get dinner in the house they will cook for you for reasonable price or you can eat outside in Trinidad, they are 100 of restuarants and options, also good restaurant in Casilda called Paladar La Marinera - amazing sea food. So overall, we would 100% recommend to stay with Juan Carlos at his beautiful home. He is amazing host and will help you with anything you need.

Wir verbrachten fünf Nächte in der Casa Barbara und hatten dort eine wunderbare Zeit. Man erwartet es von außen nicht - aber von innen ist diese Casa ein richtiges Schmuckstück. Überall sind Pflanzen und Palmen und man merkt, dass Juan Carlos und Barbara, die Besitzer der Casa, sehr viel Liebe reingesteckt haben. Sie haben uns zusammen mit Joachim herzlich willkommen geheißen und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Casa war sehr sauber, es wurde täglich geputzt (das hatten wir ansonsten in Kuba nie!). Frühstück war immer köstlich und wir haben dort auch oft zu Abend gegessen. Barbara ist eine tolle Köchin und hat uns Hummer, Shrimps und mehr zubereitet. Für unsere Ausflüge nach Trinidad und zum Playa Ancon haben uns Juan Carlos und Barbara immer ein Taxi organisiert, alles sehr unkompliziert. Beide waren immer sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns Tipps gegeben. Wir können die Casa zu 100 % weiterempfehlen und würden auch immer wieder selbst dort buchen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch! Die Casa Doña Barbara hat alles, was man zum Entspannen braucht. Das Haus ist makellos sauber, die Zimmer sind schön und sowohl Trinidad als auch der Strand in wenigen Minuten mit dem Taxi zu erreichen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Essen, das von den Damen der Casa mit viel Liebe und gutem Geschmack zubereitet wird. Die Casa verfügt über drei Zimmer. Wir lernten während unseren Aufenthalts viele interessante und nette Leute kennen. Der Innenhof bietet die Möglichkeit für tolle Gespräche und lustige Dominoabende. Jetzt kommt das Wichtigste. Die Gastgeber sind mehr als herzlich, wir wurden zum Teil der Familie. Sie gaben uns jede Hilfe, die wir benötigten. Wir sind einfach nur dankbar für alles und hoffen, dass wir eines Tages wieder nach Casilda kommen können.
