Buransh homestay is a beautiful residence nestled in the peaceful surrounding of unpoised wilderness. It is a family home offering three rooms (with ensuite bathrooms) to the guests in a small himalayan village of Kawalag, 15 kilometers from the Mall Road – the heart of historic Shimla town. It is an ideal abode for a relaxed vacation and suites those who enjoy meeting others from different cultures and love celebrating life in a native's good way. All interesting places in Shimla town and surrounding areas are easily doable while staying at our homestay. For adventure enthusiasts, there are good options of outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, nature walks available. We have very good areas to practice outdoor yoga if someone is interested in doing it. To understand the local culture closely it's a great place to stay as you can meet and speak with local village people while going on for a village walk. All rooms have balconies which offers panoramic views of the valleys, village and the surrounding hills which gives great relaxation to a tired body. We also have a very comfortable common living room with good selection of books to read and a television enabled with channels of different interests. Delicious homely vegetarian food with local Himachali delicacy is served which is prepared by the lady of the house with great love. Unlike hotels, bed and breakfast establishments, guest houses this is a typical homestay where host family also live in the same premises. We are the host of this homestay who live here. I am Verinder and wife is Monika, a home maker. We have a child of 08 years old, Vishvesh. We live here with with our parents. My father is a retired from Government service and mother is a home maker. I work in tourism industry since 2005. We love to interact with people from different places and would love to host them at our homestay.
