Perfect for smart working from a home in Florence. High speed WiFi connection and homely atmosphere are offered by my husband and myself. We are offering one big bed room with a French size bed but single use only and one twin bed room also only for one person ony who can enjoy an extra chilling corner. All rooms are carefully furnished and there is one bath shared between the two rooms, which is the reason that only two persons are sharing one bath an not four as the bedrooms would suggest. But we think that 4 persons sharing one bath is simply too crowded and not manageable. Our children are out of the house and come sometimes to visit us, but their rooms are empty. We hosted American students, guests of all ages and nationalities, professions and persons coming to breathe and learn about art in the past and we are missing movement and life in our big sophisticated and stylish apartment. I am working from home, one room is my office, and my husband comes home for lunch during the week. We like to give information to our guests, be at hand for issues they might have in a foreign country and help them along. I know how that feels because I am a German Expat and my husband is a Florentine DOGC. (Joke: Original certified!) In addition we offer within your room and price a fridge, a microwave and a hot water kettle, cutlery and plates in order that you can make light snacks yourself. No kitchen use and not suitable for under 18 year old as we do not want to take the responsibility for minors. Smoking area is exclusively in the front garden. Depending on the length of your stay, we can arrange issues like using the washing machine. Kitchen use is not provided, but a fridge, a microwave and hot water kettle will be available for you in your room, which makes it a perfect stay for short term rentals. Be aware that we do not have airconditioning and in July - August Florence is very hot and who is used to AC will find it difficult to live without. WE have only fans, but sometimes they are not enough for some guests. We are open to extend the stay if the calendar allows it.
