The presence of the owner in the house creates a welcoming atmosphere. It will be like staying at a friend's house. If you need information or have questions I am here for you. My apartment is on the second floor, with lift, of an ancient building. It is in the heart of the city, a few steps of the sea and in front of a small park with centuries-old trees. Around the house there are many cafes, ice cream parlors and good restaurants where you can taste the typical cuisine expecially fish based. The apartment: the living room and the kitchen are in an elegant and bright open space separeted of the sleeping area wich is private. The bedroom reserved for the guest is spacious and full of light. It overlooks the near park. The furnishings of the room consist of a double bed, a large antique desk, easy wardrobe, bookcases, smart TV and well equipped with air coditioning and heating. A bathroom with shower is reserved for the guests only. Siracusa is an open air museum and walking along the seafront or wandering along the characteristic alleys between ancient baroque residences and greek temples is an unique experience. With a pleasant short walk on the Umberto bridge you reach the island of Ortigia and enjoy the characteristic open air sicilian market, Apollo temple, enjoy italian aperitivo and see the magical sunset on the sea. In Siracusa we live a lot outdoors, windy and rainy days are rare. The beaty and scents of the sea, of flowers and good food surround you in every corner and every streets.
