Nice to meet you. My name is Risa and I run a share house. My house is located in Osaka prefecture (Higashiosaka city) and it is a 12 minute walk to the nearest station. It takes about 15 minutes to the center of Osaka (Umeda station) by train, and about 30 minutes to Shinsaibashiï¼ˆFamous Tourist Attractionsï¼‰by train. Kyoto, Nara, and Kobe are each only an hour away by train, so it is a convenient location for sightseeing. My house is 30 minutes from the nearest station to the Osaka Expo without transfers.Sometimes family and friends come to visit and have dinner together. It is a fun space with a lively living room! Let's enjoy downtown Osaka and its cuisine! I will drive you to the nearest train station to my house when you check in or check out. *Please let me know the check-in time in advance. Please give us one month's notice if you plan to check in earlier.Check-out time is until 11:00 am. If you are sharing a meal,the cost of meals ranges from 1,000 to 2,000 yen per meal. *If you lose the key to your room or front door, we will charge you 15,000 yen to replace the key. Bicycles are available for rent. *Please be sure to lock your bicycle when parked. If your bicycle is stolen or lost, you will be charged 20,000 yen to compensate for the loss. Recommended spots in Osakaï¼ˆand Kyoto,Nara,Kobeï¼‰, recommended gourmet food, the shortest route to your destination by train, etc. Anything Please feel free to ask us any questions you may have. Risa is the perfect host, she is an absolutely amazing person, nothing is too much trouble and she goes above and beyond in making your stay unforgetable. Her house is very modern,clean and tidy. Her English is good and she is an excellent driver. She has very good knowledge, where to go, eat, see etc and how to get there. If you are looking to stay in Osaka then look no further, this is the place to stay, you will not be disappointed. Would I stay again - definitely yes.

With Risa’s homestay being relatively new, I’m honored to leave a great review in hopes that later travelers who happen upon it will be encouraged to book! I originally booked with Risa because of the excellent price and her house’s convenient access to Osaka, and by extension easy travel to nearby cities like Kyoto and Kobe for day trips. And in that respect I got exactly what I bargained for — including the 5-15 minute walk depending on what station you head to, it never took longer than 30-45 minutes to get just about anywhere in Osaka. What I didn’t expect was how accommodating Risa and her newly-remodeled house were. From the first day when Risa graciously offered to pick me up in her car from the nearest station so I could avoid lugging my suitcase to the house after a long day of travel Risa was consistently kind, friendly, and helpful. She also made sure we had a way to stay in touch and make herself accessible during my stay in case I needed help or had any questions. I felt like Risa was my friend and ally as I navigated a foreign land, and truly wanted me to leave with precious memories of the experience, which I definitely did. I haven’t been in many Japanese homes, but I can’t imagine you’ll find one more modern or clean than Risa’s. I had a private room with a lock, bed, desk, mini-fridge and heat/AC unit, as well as free access to all common areas of the house, including the kitchen, shower/bath, and laundry area. I was given a key to the house as well, so I could come and go as I pleased as long as I locked up after myself. The appeal of a homestay experience for me is in a small part because of the lower price relative to hotels, but also because I’m hoping to see a side of area, culture, and people that as a tourist you may not see otherwise, and hopefully have a chance to have real conversations in Japanese. I was pleasantly surprised to not just have exchanges with Risa, but on more than one occasion to spend time with other family members visiting for dinner for the evening. Even though my Japanese was broken and stuttered, and at one point I accidentally called Risa’s younger sister a crab, it was truly the highlight of the trip to spend time with the family over a traditional Japanese meal, and I’m so grateful for being invited into that experience and for the many many times people listened patiently as I worked on getting a sentence out! If you’re also looking for a homestay to have a more authentic experience, look no further than here! Thank you Risa! I hope we can meet again soon!

Risa is the best host I have ever stayed with. She and her family are very welcoming and kind people. Her house is very clean and beautiful. It is quite easy to reach Namba/Osaka station from her place. The train station is easily accessible with 10-12 mins walk. She also helped to pick up and drop in her car from the nearest station during check in/check out. Her family organized Takoyaki party and cooked Japanese traditional food Oden during Danjiri festival celebration. Most important, if you want to practice your Japanese, then this is the best place to stay because her family speaks only Japanese, however Risa speaks very good English so you will not have any trouble communicating if you cannot speak any Japanese. I highly recommend staying in her place. Thank you very much Risa. I will come back soon.

I've had some greats hosts before, but Risa is the best! My trip in Osaka was amazing and it was all because of her. She has a beautiful house, that she keeps very clean. The bed and duvet were very comfy. Risa answered all of my questions no matter how complex or silly they were. On a number of occasions she picked me up and dropped me off with her car. If you stay in Osaka, you should stay with Risa!

Risa is a super helpful and wonderful host who will stop at nothing to make your Osaka stay a memorable one! She's very responsive and gave recommendations for the easiest way to travel by train around Osaka, even dropping me off at train stations when she was free. Her house has all the modern amenities I needed, and my room was clean and comfortable. The homestay is situated between two train stations, the closest one is 13 minutes on foot. There are also convenience stores 5 minutes away. Thank you Risa for everything, I especially enjoyed eating homemade takoyaki for dinner with you! I will remember the delicious taste and fun conversations always!!
