Stay with Anthony and Elizabeth in our home in Brooklyn, New York. This is a 2-family home. We live on the first floor with 3 bedrooms, two of our rooms are for our guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with all your cooking needs. The grocery store is two and a half short blocks away. All 2 rooms have bunk beds. Our rooms start at $70 a night for 1 person, $89 for 2 people in the same room. We have hairdryers, TV, Closet / Wardrobe, Mirror, Nightstands with Lamps, and Air Conditioning. We have lots of varied interests; theatre, cooking, travel, reading, music, festivals, television, watching movies, car, bike racing, fashion design, and science. Elizabeth is 73. She speaks English and enjoys cooking, watching movies, reading, travel, television, sewing our own clothes, and theatre. Anthony is 69 and enjoys cooking, watching movies, music, gigs, festivals, reading, television, car, bike racing, and science. He speaks English

We had the best time in Anthony‘s and Elizabeth‘s homestay. They were so kind to us and were also very flexible in terms of our arrival time. If we ever go back to NYC we will definitely come back to this homestay. Thank you so much!

Anthony and Elizabeth are both very wonderful hosts - very friendly, generous and willing to provide everything that is wanted and more. The kitchen and dining rooms are spacious and everything you might want to is provided, including tea, cereals, ... The sleeping room was adequate, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. Everything was clean and the towels smelled nice. The neighborhood is special, this is Brownsville and the Jamaican quarter after all. I loved it and got myself some fresh fruit in the next market. It is not gentrified, so don't expect a Starbucks around the corner. You will experience something authentic instead. There never was any situation that caused caution - in the opposite I found every encounter welcoming. Also, expect travel to Manhattan to take approx. 1h. You can also take the bus and explore the neighboring quarters. I can recommend this habitat for a short visit to New York anytime.
