Elvira ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin. Ihre Wohnung ist im 2. Stock. Die für 4 Personen sehr ausreichend ist. Unser Problem war nur die Verständigung aber das haben wir dann auch geschafft:-) Es liegt sehr Zentral in La Habana, es ist ein sichere Gegend und direkt hinterm Haus ist ein internet Park. Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt.

Clean and close to the city center (15 min walk), your own apartment, but they can walk in anytime during the day or night. Nice people, but you have to speak spanish because they don’t know the english language. Owerall ok.

Elvira es una fantástica anfitriona. Sus desayunos no tienen desperdicio, soñarás con su dulce de guayaba durante el resto de tu vida. La casa muy bien situada, limpia y con todas las facilidades necesarias. Zona tranquila y segura, con un punto de internet al lado. Recomendamos la casa y la amabilidad de Elvira sin lugar a dudas. Gracias por todo Elvira!!!

This casa is very clean and the breakfast is delicious. It was convenient to have a living room and kitchen. But in the morning, you can wake up early because you can hear neighbors ' noise. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Old Havana. It is difficult to speak English with Elvira. Instead, Spanish will improve. I need a Spanish translator, but if I go to Havana again, I will stay at this casa. Because Elvira is very kind and warm. Thanks to you, I had a great time in Havana.

Nuestra experiencia en Casa de Elvira fue estupenda. El apartamento esta muy bien localizado y es limpio y acogedor. Elvira y Blanquita nos trataron estupendamente. Nunca se cansaron de responder nuestras mil preguntas! Tambien se ocuparon de conseguirnos alojamiento en Trinidad lo cual fue genial! Si volvemos a la Habana no dudaremos en volvernos a quedar en casa de Elvira. Our experience in Elvira's house was great. The apartment is very well located, clean and cosy. Elvira and Blanquita treated us really well, they never got tired of answering our million questions! They also got accommodation for us in Trinidad which was great since we did not have to worry about it. If we go back to Havana we will definitely stay again in Elvira's house.

Qué podría decir de Elvira...para nosotras una autentica mamá en Cuba! En todo momento hemos sentido una calidez por parte de ella y su familia que sin duda alguna es lo que me llevo de este gran viaje. Desde que llegamos nos ha tratado con un cariño increible, nos ha ayudado en todo nuestro viaje para movernos por las distintas ciudades, llamando a las aerolineas internas, contratándonos los taxis para el aeropuerto, etc. Su casa es preciosa, y lo mejor sin duda alguna es que está fuera de ese bullicio que tiene la Habana vieja pero lo suficientemente cerca para ir andando. Al lado tienes el malecón, una autentica delicia para pasear al atardecer y muchos lugares para cenar que, al no estar infectado de turistas, hace que los precios y la calidad sean extraordinarios. Toda la casa está impoluta, reformada y con aire acondicionado, siendo bastante espaciosas. Elvira se ofreció en todo momento a cambiarnos las sábanas, lavarnos ropa, etc. Y sus desayunos... nada que envidiar a los de los grandes hoteles!! De hecho estábamos deseando volver a su casa para poder tomar una fruta tan rica! Jugos naturales, café, pan con mantequilla y mermelada natural, fruta recién partida, etc. Si viajas a La Habana, su casa es parada obligatoria ya que es una bellísima persona y aún mejor anfitriona. La echaremos muchísimo de menos.

Elviras home is a great place to stay! Elvira helped us with ordering busticket (viazul). The only thing is that Elvira does not speak english, so we had to use alot of bodylanguage. But still, a lovely stay at Elviras home. Silje and Andreas
