Large, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. Large balcony. Balcony furniture. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: washing machine, dryer, iron, hair dryer, logs (extra). Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.
Outside Description:
Apartment block "Am Acher II", built in 2008. In the district of Am Acher 250 m from the centre of Wengen, on a slope, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet. In the house: lift, central heating system. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 250 m, restaurant 100 m, bar, bakery 250 m, 3 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.3 km, railway station "Wengen" 250 m, outdoor swimming pool 600 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 250 m, children's playground 100 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. We love the location. We love the view and the balcony. The secondary bathroom is small but adequate. The kitchen is fairly well equipped. I recommend they get a new garlic press and a few food storage containers for leftovers. The service by interhome was exceptional. When I complained about the sheets being scratchy and the mattress being old in the secondary bedroom, they replaced them promptly. Building elevator is great to have.

We had the best experience with Interhome at Wengen! The apartment was amazing with the best views! Really close to the train station and exceptionally well equipped and maintained! I would go back any day!

Bel appartement mais malheureusement les sèches serviettes n ont fonctionné qu à partir du jeudi ainsi que le chauffage au sol de la chambre principale et sa salle de bain privative. nous repartions le samedi matin! Nous l avons signalé le lundi matin et dû insister à plusieurs reprises…

Comfortable apartment well positioned in the village. Disappointed that there were no basics like salt, sugar, washing machine powder, cleaning materials, etc provided. No pillow protectors. Cutlery a bit crude. Needs a CO detector as smoke entered apartment from fire in apartment below. Bath plug didn’t seal so water kept draining away. Answer from Interhome Thank you for the review. In the event of crossing some defects, please notify the keyholder immediately, so a resolve can be provided quickly. All raised issues have been accounted for and resolved as required. The cutlery may look rather stained due to their wooden handles. As for basic essentials, guests are to bring their own or purchase in nearby stores, as these holiday homes are rented out as self-catered.

We really loved our stay at this apartment. 5 minute walk to "downtown" Wengen. Fabulous mountain view. Lots of room. Well equipped kitchen. My only complaint is the mattresses and pillows in the secondary bedroom are worn out and desperately need to be replaced. That bedroom is extremely close to the next door neighbor but everyone is very quiet so it's not a big deal. Appreciated the washer and dryer in the apartment. Another plus was the elevator and the access from the upper level "sidewalk"

Am Acher 2 makes us feel like home. It is cosy and kids friendly apartment. Amazing views from its living room and short walking distance to Wengen station.

Appartment is very nice. Good location, lovely view and plenty of space. Service of interhome in Wengen lackluster though. Closed a lot and the one request we had, plug for the bathtub, couldn’t be helped with. “You are too late, it’s almost 16:00”. We were there the day before, they were closed. We were there at 12:30, closed. We were there at 15:30, they were getting groceries during opening hours… Answer from Interhome Thank you for sharing your expaerience with us. We are sorry that you did not receive the service you needed. In cases were you miss the office hours, you can contact our service centre that is availavle 24/7. We hope this does not discourage you coming back to use our services.

the apartment is located close to the village centre and supermarket. it has a nice view. It was very clean and had all we needed. We enjoyed our time there.

Stayed here for a week in Feb. Modern apartment, with great views from the balcony with all the accessories / amenities we needed. We had a minor issue with having no bath plug, but that was fixed quickly. Included a ski storage pass by the skilift for the family. Would recommend staying in this apartment. Pick up from the train station would have been nice, with ski equipment and bags in tow. Also key collection can take a while at peak times (30 minutes in our case).

Idéalement situé, cet appartement est magnifique et spacieux avec très belle cuisine agencée ouverte sur le salon. Seul bémol : les oreillers sont trop petits et les duvets pourraient être de meilleure qualité.
