In addition, the kitchen is basic – so don’t expect to be whipping up huge family feasts. That said, it’s all the more reason to indulge in delicious local cuisine – just head to San Gimignano. And, with a communal swimming pool and gardens, this home is the perfect place for basking under the Tuscan sun in pure peace.

*There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
*You'll have access to the communal swimming pool and gardens here. They're shared with the building's other residents.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between 26th May and 30th September.
*Single beds may be pushed together to form a double.
*Your host can provide a cot for free. You'll need to request it in advance.
*You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
