This villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday in the French countryside. The setting is idyllic in a private estate, surrounded by woods and overlooking the beautiful Lac de Saint-Cassien. There’s a large garden with a private pool, a balcony, a ping pong table and a summer kitchen with a grill and pizza oven. Inside, the traditional interiors are homely and welcoming. The accommodation is split between the main house and an annexe accessed from the pool level, so this place is ideal for extended families or friends. When you want to explore the area, Lac de Saint-Cassien is 3 kilometres away, where you can rent canoes and paddleboards. Or visit the hilltop village of Montauroux, just over 5 kilometres from this home.
*For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom here.
*The third bedroom is in an annexe on the lower ground floor, accessed only externally from the pool level seating area. Here, you'll find a double bedroom with an en-suite shower.
*One room, used for the owners' storage, is closed off to guests.
*The bedrooms have air conditioning, and there's a ceiling fan in the living room.
*Both baths have a hand-held shower, and the family bathroom doesn't have a WC, but there's a separate cloakroom.
*The traditional decor here might not be to everyone's taste. It feels a little dated in parts.
*The terraced grounds, open tread stairs and pool terrace railings with larger gaps mean young children would need supervision.
*The pool may only be available to use between April and October – please speak to your host for the exact opening and closing dates.
