In the heart of the Lazio countryside, on the border with Umbria and close to Tuscany, lies this home. Set on the first floor of a farmhouse and accessed by an external staircase, inside, you’ll find plenty of characterful features. We love the vistas of the surrounding hills and valleys, and another highlight is the garden with its private pool. There’s a reed-covered pergola that provides a shaded spot for alfresco dining and a balcony, too. Located within the family farm, which extends over 100 hectares with arable land, olive groves and woodland, there are plenty of hiking opportunities. You’ll also find the picturesque Aquilonaccio Waterfall here or visit the nearby town of Acquapendente, 7 kilometres away.
*This home is on the first floor of a two-storey farmhouse and is accessed via an external staircase of fifteen steps with a railing. On the ground floor are the storerooms of the farm for the exclusive use of the owner.
*All the bedrooms have air conditioning.
*Please note that the fireplace and stove are ornamental.
*The swimming pool is only available for use between the end of April and the beginning of October.
*The alfresco dining area and pool are 20 metres from the house, down fifteen terracotta steps with a railing.
*The farm has no livestock or stables, and the grounds are not fenced.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
*Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. Access is via a 600-metre-long track (in good condition), which leads to a six-car covered parking area equipped with an electric car recharging station.
