A salvaged Victorian railway carriage has been incorporated into the design of the home, which boasts retro and urban styling – you’d never guess from the simple white cottage exterior. There’s a pool table and a wood-burning stove for cosy nights in, but most of your stay here will likely be spent exploring the shingle beach just a few steps away, or admiring sea views and the dramatic backdrop of the power station on Dungeness beach. This area is a great choice for wildlife enthusiasts – don’t forget to bring your binoculars.
*There’s parking for two cars here. You’ll need to take care when parking on the shingle.
*This home can accommodate six adults and two children. Bedroom two can be set up with a double bed and a bunk bed for children on request.
*Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones.
*Your host provides a starter supply of logs for the wood-burning stove.
*There’s direct access to the sea from this home – children should be supervised at all times.
*There is no dishwasher or washing machine.
