If you’re seeking a rural retreat, you really couldn’t be better located – there are fast-flowing burns, vast forests, and the Caerlaverock Castle nature reserve right on your doorstep, where you can discover birds, wildflowers, and wildlife. And after a day in the great outdoors, you can come home, kick off your shoes in the boot room and settle down with a movie and glass of wine by the fire. You’ll need a car to fully explore the sights on offer in Dumfries and Galloway, and if you’re visiting with your electric car, your host can provide an EV charger on request.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
