When you need a break from the sun, head inside to the open living area and snuggle up on the cushy sofa. If you're more of a home cook than a grill master, the kitchen has everything you'll need to rustle up spanakopita and other Greek dishes. Upstairs, the balcony is an excellent place to end the evening with a glass of wine, while two sumptuous bedrooms beckon after a long day of exploring.
Skiathos may be a small island – you can drive from one coast to the other in under an hour – but you definitely won't run out of things to do. The deep blue waters of Paralia Vasilias are a five-minute drive away, or you can catch a boat from the port in Skiathos Town (a ten-minute drive) and visit the island's most popular beaches. Speaking of, spend long afternoons wandering along Skiathos' narrow streets lined with galleries, local craftwork shops and tavernas serving up the most delicious Greek cuisine. There's also a good selection of bars and nightlife if you want to hit the town.
