Here you’ll also find the stunning Capela das Almas, clad in blue and white azulejo tiles depicting scenes from the lives of various saints. Other attractions nearby include Porto Cathedral, a twenty-minute stroll, and Mercado do Bolhão, a market in a neoclassical building, twelve minutes on foot.
Take some local produce back to your apartment and cook some bacalhau à Gomes de Sá (cod casserole) in the modern kitchen for dinner, if you don’t fancy eating out (your host can provide breakfast too). Or simply sit with a glass of Port and watch the world go by around the square. This apartment is ideal for professionals on business or those looking for a well-located Porto bolthole.
