In the most fantastic scenes of rugged peaks and valleys, ski towns like Baqueira-Beret become hubs of snowsports enthusiasts looking for resorts that are slightly under the radar. Just a few hundred metres from the lifts and pistes, this apartment is the perfect place to hang up your boots.
Modern, bright, and fresh – it doesn’t exactly sound like a typical chalet. Instead of going with the norm, this home feels more like a sophisticated city flat (although you do have a private ski locker on-site). The stylish blend of minimalist, understated furniture creates a relaxed, Scandi vibe. Pale wooden floors, ceilings, and kitchen cabinets are a nod to classic alpine interiors, as well as the glass-fronted fireplace for cosy nights on the sofa.
The kids will love the fun of sleeping in the bunk bed room, which feels like a ski trip dorm with a much-elevated level of comfort. And while they slumber, have the host arrange for a private chef to come over. Dine by the striking corner window, before heading out to the balcony for a glass of Catalan wine for a nightcap.
