This home sits in the buzzing inland town of Sa Pobla, where you can experience a slice of real Mallorcan life. You could make the short drive to the beach at Alcudia, or just stick around in the courtyard garden by the Jacuzzi. Pot plants provide a bit of greenery and there’s a wooden dining table for alfresco lunches. Inside, we love the original tiled floor of the living room, a nod to the 19th-century architecture that surrounds you. Stone archways and wood beams are in display and a grand old staircase leads up to the bedrooms. A couple of the bedrooms have Juliet balconies looking out over the atmospheric street before you.
