From a few steps away, you can join the walking path that covers the dramatic volcanic landscape between Oia and Fira, with Oia a twenty-minute walk away and Fira around two hours in the other direction. Of course, if you want to reach the island’s capital a little faster, it’s a twenty-minute drive. Within Finikia itself, you’ve got a handful of pretty restaurants serving Santorini specialities and ancient churches looking out over the Caldera.
At the villa, there’s no denying the highlight is the private terrace with its view over the patchwork of fields to the deep blue sea. A jetted plunge pool offers a place to cool off from the Santorini sun with loungers to dry off after. We love the boho vibe of the wicker hanging chair, scattered floor cushions and artsy rugs out here.
